About Henley Field Ball Park
Henley Field, built in 1922 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is one of Florida's most storied ballparks. The Detroit Tigers held spring training here from 1934 until they moved to Joker Marchant Stadium in 1966, and the field is now home to the Florida Southern College Moccasins. Catching a college game at this intimate, history-soaked park is a quintessentially Lakeland experience.
