About Bonnet Springs Park

Bonnet Springs Park is a 168-acre former railyard transformed into one of Florida's most celebrated urban-nature parks, opening in 2022 on the west side of downtown Lakeland. Visitors can wander the AgAmerica Heritage Garden, climb the elevated Crenshaw Canopy Walk, explore the Florida Children's Museum, and follow scenic trails past a butterfly house and family lagoon, all with free general admission. It was voted USA Today's #1 City Park in 2025. Its central location off West Memorial Boulevard makes it an easy stroll or short drive from a Lakeland vacation rental in the downtown or Dixieland neighborhoods.
