Business listing and placement terms

Effective October 12, 2026. These terms supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Free listings

A basic business profile costs $0. No card or subscription is required. An authorized representative approves submitted facts; our team verifies the business before publication. Editorial listings from official public sources are labeled separately. Send corrections or removal requests to partners@stayinlakeland.com. Approval covers directory publication and use of structured facts by Heather. It does not grant photo rights, subscribe anyone to marketing, or authorize restaurant reservations.

Optional sponsored placement

The pilot costs $29 USD per business per month. Stripe shows the total and any applicable tax before payment. The subscription renews monthly until canceled. It buys clearly labeled sponsored positioning above standard results when your business matches a directory category or search. Multiple sponsors share those positions; a unique rank is not promised. It does not purchase favorable Heather recommendations or guaranteed impressions, bookings, traffic, or search rankings.

Cancellation and billing

Use Manage billing in your private profile to cancel future renewals or change payment details. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period; your free profile remains. No prorated refunds are offered for an unused partial month, except when required by law or where we fail to supply the purchased placement. Contact partners@stayinlakeland.com for billing issues. Failed or expired payments suspend sponsored positioning. Your listing agreement and paid subscription are separate.

Accuracy and privacy

Keep business information current. We can decline or remove inaccurate, unsafe, or unsuitable listings. We do not sell guest contact details or recordings as part of this offer. Guest assistance is informational; hours, accessibility, stock and reservation availability must be confirmed with the business.
